The EPS is a specialized security agency responsible for protecting the President of Liberia, other high-ranking officials, and critical national infrastructure. Our mission includes ensuring the safety and security of the nation’s leadership and maintaining national security.

The EPS is tasked with:

• Protecting and securing the President, his/her immediate family, other officials, and visiting dignitaries.
• Safeguarding the Executive Mansion and its grounds.
• Securing all classified and sensitive documents.
• Conducting security checks on mail, packages, and items addressed to or for the use of the President and other VIPs.
• Overseeing security at the President’s residences.
• Serving as a liaison with other security agencies.
• Performing additional functions as delegated by the President.
• Adhering to legal requirements for information collection and arrest procedures.
